Matt Furie created Dungeon Family in 2013. This limited-edition art zine was published by Mt. St. Mtn. and featured 20 full-color portraits of imaginative dungeon-dwelling characters. Described as “children’s book illustrations for adults,” the zine combined playful, cartoon-inspired visuals with surreal and sometimes dark themes. Only 500 copies were produced, making it a sought-after collector’s item .
